Lilo and Stitch-Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride(English)

No one really knew what to expect when Lilo and Stitch was on its way back in 2002. The poster merely said “There’s one in every family” with a picture of what looked like a blue dog with big long ears with many of the loved Disney characters sitting in the background. So the question was what was the film going to be about, many Disney peeps or a simple spin of feature film?

It turned out it was none of these things. Stitch was actually an aggressive alien from another planet who was turned good by Lilo. Set in Hawaii, the film was nominated for an Academy Award and received a huge fan base. So Disney being Disney, the sequel followed soon after along with another and a television series based on the franchise. Disney had done something that they hadn't achieved in years. It was a film much like the Jungle Book in the way the entire family could sit down and enjoy it.

Stitch is now of course put over everything Disney from t-shirts to the theme parks that Disney have. Was it the Hawaiian setting or the fact that Stitch appeals to both boys and girls in that he is cute yet a complete and utter maniac at the same time?

Stitch has a ride at Walt Disney World, Florida along with participating in many of the theme park shows. Hoodies, cups, t-shirts, pins whatever you can think of, Stitch is on it. If you still have not seen the original film it is worth a watch even if it is just to see what all of the talk is about.

Of course you could go on one of those Hawaii holidays to see the island from the films. USA holidays are great for the entire family and if you are looking to meet Stitch himself then Orlando holidays is where you should be looking to go.
