Benefits of Vocal training

There are many people in this world who think that they can sing very well. But only few among us know how to sing well. The reason behind this is that they are not being provided with any kind of vocal instruction or training that could improve their voice. Most of the people who do not know how to sing well but aspire to sing can undertake the vocal training program in Singapore.

Generally we are unaware of the demands of the listener. First of all we must understand that what a listener expects to hear from a well-groomed singer. A listener wants to have a good tonal quality, Steady voice, and Good command over the sound, longer breathing, and Good range. They are partial to a voice that is sweet-sounding and melodious with good depth of feelings.

Besides this, they do not want a voice that is nasal and hoarse. They enjoy listening, instead, to easy flowing voices that soar through the high notes and always keep pace with the different tempo.

To achieve all these desirable qualities, a singer must have excellent mastery of his entire vocal system. This can be attained if he has the knowledge of vocal science. The Vocal Science Training gives a singer the complete procedural knowledge so that he can have command over his vocal muscles for the effortless singing.

Vocal training is generally similar for both classical and non-classical singing voice. It enhances the quality of the voice and give the singer, the confidence to sing any kind of song. Singing will, generally, increase heart and lung activity while toning throat muscles.

Daily vocalization exercises can increase your lung capacity to generate more oxygen that is needed by the different organs of the body. Studies reveal that aerobic activities, like singing, releases endorphins in the body, that causes people to feel happy after a singing session.

While singing, your body becomes the instrument, and therefore everything you do has an effect on the way you sing. The food that you eat and drink, your sleeping habits, the amount of exercise that you do, the vitamins and medicines you take, even the air that you breathe; all these influence the quality of your singing one way or another.  If your livelihood depends solely on singing, then you must train rigorously to join the professional athletes, on a daily basis with a few hours’ work.

Vocal training is a process that can develop you mentally, physically and emotionally as well. There are many advantages in entering into a vocal training program. This increases you inner energy, gives you stamina, makes you open hearted, you become more expressive, it improves your physical and emotional awareness, provides you with greater physical as well as vocal strength, provides you vocal confidence, increases your vocal range, gives you clearer articulation and a fully resonant sound and you develop knowledge and interest of music reading, musical styles, literature, and languages and at last provides you with the experience.

A vocal training program through its lessons helps you to exercise your all the vocal cords. Besides this it also exercises your diaphragm and also your lungs that enable your voice to get into shape. Our voice is also widely believed to be supported wholly by the muscular system and requires regular exercise to keep it in shape and strong.

A good vocal training program helps you to get in the practice that you need and provides you the exposure towards the helpful hints that an average singer is unaware of and doesn’t know how to utilize them. It will teach you all the necessary elements of singing like posture, pronunciation, breathing, and other things ordinary people do not consider important. All these aspects and more are emphasized in a vocal training program. They also help you to learn how to sight-sing, that can be helpful to you if you want to become a professional singer.

Can a DJ make a very good role model

Being a Disc Jockey is certainly not a breeze. It will take many years to build up a succesful setlist and even longer for a club to take it seriously. Is being a DJ just like playing any other form of music or is it something else entirely and can violence, alcohol and drugs come with the job?

It is however like any other job and most of the time you can be your own boss, drinking should not be done on the job and taking drugs as well as being violent is something that is condemmed by common law. Is the DJ the problem or perhaps the people that are attending the gig.. But are the DJs the problem or is it the people that are partying to the music?

The most likely reason that there is sometimes violence at a set is not because of the DJ lighting or even because the DJ speakers He is not prepared to do the gig because of all of the violence that comes with it.. Think about the huge Fat boy Slim concerts that are usually held in Brighton every year. He has personally said he will not do them due to the violence cause by the drugs and alcohol taken there. Not only this, the amount of trash that is left on Brightons streets afterwards is something you expect to see at a tip not a city centre.

This however is not meaning to see that the DJ him/herself is responsible for what the people are doing at a set, most of the time the DJ does not want things to get out of control, like any other musician playing they are doing it for the fans and to make a living not for violent behaviour. So next time there is violence at a DJ set do not blame the DJ mixer blame the crowd, they are usually the root of the problem.

The Beatles In Stereo Box Set Review

The Beatles Stereo Box Set

Now that I’ve had The Beatles In Stereo Box Set for almost a full week I think it’s time to do a review of the set as a whole. Now that I’ve had a chance to hear all of the remastered Beatles albums I can say without any doubt that they sound much better than the old Beatles CDs.

It’s fantastic how much more clear these new discs sound in comparison to the old discs. I hear lots of details in these songs that I have never heard before! It’s really like rediscovering The Beatles timeless music again as I go through each of the 16 CDs in The Beatles In Stereo CD Box Set.

There’s already been a lot of debate among fans of The Beatles over which box set sounds better; The the stereo or the mono? This debate is raging of course because The Beatles Mono CD Box Set was also released on 9/9/9.

In my opinion the stereo CDs sound far better for the later albums because they allow for greater clarity which is particularly essential considering how complex many of these later mixes are. With the first four or five albums it’s a closer call. I still like the clarity of the stereo mixes even with the earlier albums, but it is true that the really wide panning can be a bit distracting so I think there’s a good case for the more “powerful” sounding mono mixes too!

In short, I’m very glad that I bought both box sets and I really think they are both essential for serious Beatles fans. After all the mono mixes were how the albums were originally intended to be heard so they have great historical value, but the stereo mixes sound really really good, so you have to have those too.

And while the major reason I’m so excited about this box set is, of course, how great the music sounds – another great thing about it is the awesome packaging. An informative booklet with many pictures and notes on the historical context of the album and the recording process for that album is included with each CD.
